Back to School Supply Drive 2026 — Help Fill 450+ Backpacks for North Texas Kids

Cornerstone North Central Texas is collecting new backpacks and school supplies for 450+ kids in Prosper, Celina, Gunter, Frisco, and McKinney. Here's how to help.

One of the things I love most about living and working in Prosper is how this community shows up for its kids. This summer, I'm partnering with Cornerstone North Central Texas for their annual Back to School Bash Supply Drive — and we need your help.

What we're doing

Cornerstone is collecting new backpacks and school supplies for over 450 kids across Prosper, Celina, Gunter, Frisco, and McKinney. Every backpack we fill means a child walks into their first day of school with everything they need to succeed — no stress, no stigma, just confidence.

Most-needed items

  • Backpacks
  • 1" white 3-ring binders
  • Wide-ruled marble composition notebooks
  • Earbuds or headphones for school use

How you can help

It takes about 5 minutes:

  1. Shop the wishlists on Target or Amazon — items ship directly to the drive.
  2. Drop off new supplies locally if you'd rather shop in person.
  3. Spread the word — share this post with neighbors, your HOA group, or your office.

Why this matters

Prosper, Celina, and the surrounding towns have grown fast — but not every family in our school zones has the same resources. A backpack full of supplies on day one is one of the simplest, most direct ways to set a kid up for a great year.
